I have a whole pile of live shows coming up in November here in Edmonton and I would love to see you in person at one of them!
Here are the places you can come see me this month and some insight into which one might be the best pick for you.
The best news? All of these are FREE (tips, of course, are encouraged).
November 1 – The Station on Jasper – Happy Hour
If you work downtown, a happy hour gig at The Station is the perfect stop before you head home. The extra hour in the core will save you some rush hour traffic, too!
I play from 5 PM to 6 PM and you can enjoy dinner along with happy hour drink specials. I can even join you after the set as I use up my dinner tab! I’ll be enjoying the Po’Boy.
At this time of day, The Station is all-ages, so bring the fam!
November 2 – The Art of Cake – Sweet Sounds
Crullers. Cakes. Beer. Wine. And bowtie rock to haunt your heart from yours truly.
Honestly, The Art of Cake is one of the most beautiful rooms in our city. Sweet Sounds is a cosy way to spend the evening with family and friends – or the PERFECT date night. I usually get a little romantic for these ones.
I’ll be playing with some new toys I’ve rented for my corporate gig the next evening so expect a surprise or two here.
Last but not least – Art of Cake is always all-ages and these shows are done at 9. NINE!
No cover charge but tips are appreciated 🙂
November 3 – Corporate Event – Instrumental
You can’t come to this one as it’s a private event (unless, of course, you are lucky enough to be invited to said event). I thought I’d mention it here anyways because I’m breaking new ground with this gig.
This is an instrumental gig. It’s a stretch for me but it pays well and I love the opportunity to grow my repertoire. I’ll be renting some new tricks to fill out my one-man-band for this one!

Down The Line – Von Bieker in Calgary!
Yep, I’ve landed my first gig on foreign soil.
I’ll be playing at The Cornerstone Music Cafe for their Friday night “Soul in a Bowl” series on December 7 and I couldn’t be more excited!
Playing some gigs outside of Edmonton was a major goal of mine this year and I’m happy to be moving in that direction before the year is out.
